Georgia is the place where the first domesticated grapes were discovered. The Georgian Kvevri, traditional wine vessel, and winemaking technic are protected by UNESCO as a non-material cultural heritage. In fact, today we are using the same winemaking technic as our ancestors did centuries before. Wine is the symbolic element and the most important ritual at Georgian Supra (feast) characterized by structured toasting made by the toastmaster and wine drinking.
